What is a true calling? How do I know where God is leading me?

Just a few questions I've been asking myself. Questions to which the answers have not yet been fully answered, nor do I expect an answer. I feel that, in order, for something to be a calling I must be passionate about 'it', my brothers and sisters in Christ must support 'it', and that an opportunity must present itself, even if it doesn't seem like the right time or place. Am I called to go to Miami? I'm passionate about it, my friends support it. I've applied and the rest is in God's hands, as if the whole thing wasn't to begin with.
