Who Dey? well...
The Patriots currently have the #3 pass offense and the #4 rush offense, which equals out to the #1 ranked offense in the NFL. Also, Tom Brady has a passer rating of 141.8 or a little under 80% of his passes completed and is the leader with 10 touchdowns in three games which, for those of you who don't know, is ridiculous! Brady has the option to hand the ball off to Laurence Maroney, who has a total of 252 yards in three games and is currently ranked as the 13th best running back in the league. Or Brady could toss it up to Randy Moss, and I'm afraid to say that none of the Bengals defenders look like they'll be able to stop him.
But the Bengals aren't out of it just yet! The Jets, Chargers, and Bills offense(Patriots last three games) dont even compare to the offense of the Bengals. Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmanzadeh are on their way to the Pro Bowl this year, and are almost impossible to cover. Rudi Johnson is out with a leg injury, so Kenny Watson is filling in, which I sort of like. Rudi is starting to get too old for the NFL anyway, eventhough I would like to see him play this game. The Pats do a great job at shutting offenses on 1st down and forcing them into passing situations, which should work well since Palmer has a 97.3 passer rating and 9 touchdowns in three games, one of which was against a great defense. But overall, the game, as far as the Bengals go, is in Carson Palmers hands, since our defense hasen't shown they can handle a team like the Patriots.
Root the Bengals on this Monday. WHO DEY!
Special teams dont let me down!
